Anil Kumble, former captain of the Indian cricket team, was in Pune to hold a session for young cricket enthusiasts and their parents on Sunday. Kumble provided participants a personalized training and mentoring session to help them become better players. The cricketer has partnered with a residential project wherein he will provide such personalized coaching on a long term basis. Following the session, he said, “I am very happy to be able to nurture budding talent in Pune. The training will allow children to hone their skills and realize their full potential within the convenience and safety of their homes.”
Kumble was in Pune as a part of the ‘Meet the Legends’ series organized by the private developer. Several achievers, from across various fields, are expected to visit the residential township as part of the ongoing series organized by the developers.
