Pune-based real estate firm project in city

Gera Developments, a Pune based real estate developers known for introducing innovative concepts, has ventured into Goa with Gera’s Imperium, a Rs 10 corer seven floor commercial project at Patto Plaza, behind Kadamba bus terminus, here.

Gera ’s entry into Goa will perhaps make it the first real estate company to bring to Goa the international practice of offering a warranty in the real estate sector. Gera Imperium will have a five year warranty to ensure that it says in premium condition, said the company’s Chairman & Managing Director, Kumar Pritamdas Gera .

The warranty, he said, will cover repairs including leakages and preventive maintenance in areas of carpentry, electrical diagnostic works, plumbing and bathroom tiles.

Marketed as Intelliplex or intelligent building, Gera’s constructions including Goa’s new project, will boast of features like wi-fi enabled facility, fire alarms and safety systems, motion sensor lights, lux sensors for external light control, etc General Manger (Sales) Vijay Natrajan said.

Gera told a press conference that Bhoomi Pujan was conducted today for the 75, 000 sq. ft commercial project consisting of 101 units which he said would be completed by Diwali 2007. The site is located opposite the office of Commissionerate of Customs & Excise. Goa query, Gera said the building will be disabled friendly.

The 7-floor shopping-cum-commercial project will have parking facility on the basement and ground floor, shopping on the ground and first floor and office from second floor to the seventh, Architect Brian Soares said.
