City housing prices could go up: Report

The Pune Metropoli¬tan Region (PMR) is likely to witness a rise of 15 to 18 per cent in housing pric¬es during the current year, acccording to a Realty Re- Port.
Given the direction of in-flation, indications from the Reserve Bank of India that interest rates will soften, the current cost structure for developers, the overall stock position and the price move-ment last year, the report re-leased by builder Rohit Gera said. The report is based on a survey of 1.695 projects in the city Prices have moved up by approximately 11.63 per cent in the last year. The report concluded that home buying has not abated but the sell-out ratio has, in fact, increased.
