March 8: Gera Developments, a well-known name in the real estate development, today launched the construction of the first ‘intelliplex’ in Goa, near Kadamba bus terminus at Patto Plaza .

The building, which has been named Gera ’s Imperium, is also the first venture of Gera Developments in Goa and will have futuristic technology with intelligent features. The 75, 000 commercial projects will be completed in 15 months time from the time of its launch.

Addressing a press conference after the launch ceremony, Mr. Kumar Gera, Chairman & Managing Director, told reporters that his company has been in the forefront in constructing innovative buildings and provide latest real estate services.

He also said that the shops, offices and tenements in the buildings built by the company with 5 year warranty in two areas of preventive maintenance and repairs and that Goa Imperium will also have these features. This is the first time such a warranty is being offered in Goa , he added.

Mr. Gera also said that with Goa ’s emergence as an IT and ITES destination his companies trademark combination of innovativeness will help it to cater to the evolving demands of current and future markets in the state.

Mr. Vijay Natarajan, General Manager – Sales, of the company said that Gera’s Imperium, the Intelliplex or Intelligent building will have hosts of ‘intelligent’ features such as motion senor lights, lux sensors for external lighting control, intelligent fire alarms and safety systems.

The building will also have intelligent building monitoring systems and optional technologically advanced security systems such as bio-metrics access control.
